SKYPE MEETINGS

SKYPE SESSION: SCOTLAND AND SPAIN (15th Nov.).

Sharon McLeod from Kilbowie Primary School (Scotland - UK) and Ramón Blokker from CEIP Los Arévacos (Arévalo - Spain) had our first contact through Skype on Thursday 10th November 2016. We skyped for a few minutes to arrange our next Skype session which took place on Tuesday 15th November 2016 with our students in School. On our Skype session we asked each other questions, we had several students come out to ask a question they had prepared in advance. One of the Scottish students sang a song in Spanish to us which was about numbers and colours and also the whole class sang a song in English to us. We exchanged intercultural views about why in Spain we did not wear uniforms like they did in Scotland.

SKYPE SESSION: SCOTLAND AND SPAIN (29th Nov.).

On our second Skype session we prepared typical things from our two countries. Spanish students showed traditional elements of spanish culture like flamenco, Spanish omelette, typical instruments...

Scottish students sang their national himn and explained St. Andrew's celebration and United Kingdom organisation into different countries.

SKYPE SESSION: ROMANIA, SCOTLAND AND POLAND (15th Dec.).

Some countries could make more than one skype meeting and they explained their traditions to their new friends in threes.

The children enjoyed being able to ask questions related to Christmas time.

SKYPE SESSION: TURKEY AND ITALY (15h Dec.).

Italian students worked in groups to search information about Turkey before they did their skype meeting.
