Romania has been the first country in organising different activities this year after the Scottish mobility.

They started with the mid-term conference where they invited local authorities, local press, teachers and the children who were the most involved in the activites carried out last year. They shared their thoughts with us, told us about their favourite activites and gave suggestions for next year.

USING WHAT WE LEARNT in SCOTLAND

Then, after Scotland activity- Modular Math, the children from class 4 worked on shapes using the Modular Math techniques we were shown in Claydebank.

In Poland, pupils spent the night in the school library and, with four teachers were making and creating shapes. They also dealed with other Maths tasks.

In Ireland, 6th class were making Hexaflexagons – fun toys using folding & geometry skills. Junior Infants, with the help of their older buddies, went on a shape hunt in the school playground. 2nd class practiced their numeracy skills while playing a fun board game designed by a teacher in our Scottish partner school – they had great fun!

In Spain, the students of the 3rd class did some "funny maths" activities with special number combinations (November, 2017).
